"Behind the intials was a metaphor, a delirium tremens, a trembling unfurrowing of the mind's plowshare. The saint whose water can light lamps, the clairovoyant whose lapse in recall is the breath of God, the true paranoid for whom all is organized in spheres joyful or threatening about the central pulse of himself, the dreamer whose puns probe ancient fetid shafts and tunnels of truth all act in the same special relevance to the word, or whatever it is the word is there, buffering, to protect us from." (G)ay (O)ld (P)arty

So...Mmmm....am I missing something. I've never been a real believer in that "if you don't like gay people, it's because you're gay." I've always felt that bigotry was a more multi-faceted human failing, but perhaps I'm wrong. I mean, the republicans have routinely come out anti-gay any time they're allowed the option, and as it turns out, most of them are gay.

I mean seriously, now there's a guy in West Virginia (a junior state senator) who they have pictures of prancing around with two other guys wearing nothing but body paint. His claim is that this was all just for fun; it wasn't gay.

Let me try that again. He's naked. The other two guys? Naked as well. They're all wearing body paint. I imagine there's a strobe light in the background, perhaps some Moby playing on the hi-fi. Porcelain probably. A guy in a lime green hat blows a whistle and in walks the guys from Queer Eye.

But you know...not in a gay way.

How in the world do you hang out naked with two of your buddies dressed in body paint only and have that not be gay? That's gay. That's like, nearly the definition of gay. If you show that picture to someone and ask them, is this guy gay, the unanimous response is, "yep, that guy's gay."

So, to sum up. State Senator Randy White, Republican, husband, and father of three, is gay.

Feeling sorry for the wrong people

My sympathies are not with Mark Foley. He was molested. He wasn't molested. Maybe he was. His story seems really fucking flimsy. This along with, "I was drunk when I wrote that TEN PAGE NOTE." Yeah. Sure you were. Maybe we should consider the possibility that this guy is sick and leave it at that. Prison time seems to me a pretty good answer.

But I digress...I have no sympathies for Mark Foley.

I have no sympathies J. Dennis Hastert. It seems to me that if you know about child molestation and you don't do anything about it, you're sort of the pedophile's cheerleader squad. Remember in Pulp Fiction and Ving Rhames is getting it in the ass there's that guy sitting off on the side line slobbering. Yeah...that's the speaker for the house. And I have no sympathy.

But then who, in this metaphor, is the gimp?

Bush, who now backs them both. That's right Prez. Way to take a stand on human decency. What, no prisoners to torture that morning? Condoleeza now forgetting her meetings with you as well. Anyways, the president supports child molestation too. No sympathy. Put them all in prison is my answer.

My sympathies go out to the poor pages' bleeding ass holes after their anal raping by a covie of drooling senators. I imagine them with cash in their hands for some reason as if there are wagers being placed on the event. But in real life, I bet they just had on those gimp-esque masks as they waited their turn. Oh, I know, you'll say they were just emails... Yeah, that you, John and Jane Q. Public have heard about. Let's find out how often these senators are taking trips to Thailand in the company jet looking for some love for sale.

"That's disgusting."

Yes...yes it is. Stop fucking voting Republican.

Oh, and Foley, if you're reading this, stop masturbating.

Republican Pedarasts

I think there is something really fucking wrong with the republicans that they are responding to the Foley crisis as a "sex-scandal" and comparing it to Clinton Lewinskey. I know why they're doing it. It is to make some kind of comparison of degree. Clinton had sexual relations with Lewinsky and we still like him, so why burn Foley at the stake.

The fact that the comparison can be made at all indicates a serious problem of ethics. Monica Lewinskey was younger than Clinton, sure, but she wasn't a child. Moreover, Clinton, despite his policies of acceptance towards homosexuals, had heterosexual sex.

Foley, on the other hand, belongs to a group that is against homosexuality (and black people--was the page black?), yet, he actively attempted to coerce homosexual sex...

WITH A CHILD!

The problem here isn't that this guy wanted to have sex and we found out about it. The problem here isn't that he wanted to have gay sex and we found out about it. This isn't a sex scandal at all. If he had committed rape, would it be a sex scandal? No. It would be a rape scandal. Well, this guy was trying to commit pedofelia. He wants to have sex with boys. Okay, maybe he was drunk. I highly doubt it; who writes nine page letters when they're drunk, but whatever...it doesn't matter. Who's been so drunk that they wanted to become a child molester.

Calling this guy's problem a sex scandal indicates that you don't know the difference between marital infidelity, for instance) and wanting to put your dick in a child's ass. No wonder these guys try so hard to take the moral high ground: they want to see what's up there.

Now, what's worse here is that everybody knew that this poor kid was being harrassed. Everyone knew about this attempt at child molestation. The FBI knew. Party leadership knew. Other senators knew. And yet, no one did anything about it. Hmmm... so evidentally this is business as usual with the GOP. I don't think that these monsters should be voted out of office, they should be locked up.

Now, I suppose if we lock them up, we should treat them according to the tenants of the Geneva convention. Which means, depending on who you ask, we can have them routinely sodomized. They can make their complaints to Condoleeza Rice....who won't remember hearing them.

Florida: Where the boys are

In my previous post I commented on the fact that the powers that be have managed to underestimate the intelligence of the average American and as such are likely to lose money at the box office, on the boob tube, and will most likely lose their control of congress. A side point: will a democrat controlled congress proceed with the impeachment and treason trials we've all been holding our breath to see? Just a thought.

B.S.U.W.G. commented that he hoped that I was right and sort of gave away that he felt I was saying that Americans are getting smarter. I would never say such a thing. They're simply not getting much money back for being stupid and as such are trying other courses of action. The underestimation that is made concerning American intelligence is only fallacious in that it assumes that Americans have the brain power of inanimate objects. Not so, I say.

And yet...

And yet there are still people voting republican. Worse still, there are still Bible thumping people voting Republican. Look, I've got nothing against homosexuality. Really. You're gay, you're not gay; who cares? I've got real shit to worry about. But these people who I'm talking about do care about such things. So...the Republican party seems to be trading in the flesh of teenage boys. They know about this, they trade aids between them, and they attempt to sodomize them. Tell me again how the Republican party is the party of the right wing, white ring, Christian fundamentalists? I mean, seriously, I don't get it. The leadership knows about the emails, the governor of Louisiana has commentary to make about the whole thing (how the fuck does he become involved!), and we're hearing about it--us! The dumbshit Americans who believe what they see on Fox news. Let me tell you, if you're republican, you get a whole army of people to cover up your shit. Hell Cheney shot a guy in the face. If we hear that this guy sent some emails, what actually happenned in the real world is that he probably sodomized the kid while reading scripture just like in those videotapes from Git-Mo.

My real problem with all this is that I'm a Christian too, or maybe I should say, I'm actually a Christian. I believe in peace and not judging people, etc.. But like these people I sort of believe in Hell. The difference is, it seems to me, their Hell is filled with poor gay well fare mothers. My Hell is filled with a bunch of people who heap riches on guys who trade in male sex slaves. Careful out there in Kansas--you people might want to read that book you keep thumping.
