Dungeons and Dragons
The wife and I have taken up dungeons and dragons again. It's really fun. It's interesting because it doesn't carry that stigma it did back when I was 10. We just play and have fun. My wife is even trying to get me to go to PAX next year if we can figure out how to get our kids taken care of.

Never played it. My wife & I play rummy, kind of incessantly.
I love the memory of AD&D, possibly more than the game itself. I just don't know that I could be that motivated to slay dragons, rescue damsels in distress, and find treasures that boggle the mind any more. I just can't be bothered with it.
Right now I am participating in observation of teaching at a Thai school that has 700 students and about 150 resident orphans. I wonder if they would want to play AD&D if they had a Thai version of it. Except the primary motivational factor might be, "I got my +5 sword and made lots of money with it, so now my family can finally be together." Or, "Let's go to the tavern again; I'm starving."
