One more for the road

Okay, read the last post and then come back to this one.

Republican baby boomers: question. How much is your house worth? How much was it worth eight years ago? That's how much you've lost because of your government.

Now, knowing now what you do, wouldn't it have been better if you'd kept your house at its current value and submitted the difference as taxes so as to SAVE the country's reputation, to keep us out of depression, or to have shoared up the problems with global warming. If you want a good government it costs, but you know what, a bad government costs more, and not in some namby-pamby moral/ethical value, but in good hard earned dollars and cents.

I mean, seriously, you're all so against paying an extra thousand in taxes that you'll support people who have caused you to lose hundreds of thousands. I'm not discussing ideology here at all, it's simple math. I don't own a house, so I could care less, but I'm willing to take donations if you're all that gung ho about throwing your money away. Seriously, I'm on paypal. You like republicans so you're used to giving people your money for no good reason--why not give it to me?

I think we should do what.. was it Mexico... did and write off our national debt. Sorry foreign investors, we aren't paying you any more. We're keeping our wealth in the country. Buy American, live with less because American costs more, and watch as jobs start appearing again. Put up more tariffs on low-quality imported goods. Rebuild our industrial sector, which was part of what made the middle class in the first place.
