"Behind the intials was a metaphor, a delirium tremens, a trembling unfurrowing of the mind's plowshare. The saint whose water can light lamps, the clairovoyant whose lapse in recall is the breath of God, the true paranoid for whom all is organized in spheres joyful or threatening about the central pulse of himself, the dreamer whose puns probe ancient fetid shafts and tunnels of truth all act in the same special relevance to the word, or whatever it is the word is there, buffering, to protect us from." Me and the unemployed down at the Walmart

Okay, the parking lot of the walmart near me is ALWAYS full. I went in at 1 o'clock on a Wednesday. Exactly who is there? Who is this army of people with nothing better to do than hang at Walmart on a weekday afternoon.

Apparently Wal-marts were also considered to be free parking lots for RV's and campers to spend the night at without paying rent. Many stores have late-night campers that stop there and are gone the next morning. I believe that the stores try to enforce a degree of 'get out of our parking lot, it's not for spending the night,' but can't do much since they're open 24-7.
