My vote for Mit

I wouldn't vote for Mit Romney if my ass was on fire and he was running on the "water for Monstro's ass" platform.

For reasons why not, go through my blog and read any and all entries about my health care and Massachusett's police officers.

Oh yeah, google Big Dig and Boston.

I think it's funny how spineless and brainless the Republicans are turning out to be. They think...seriously, they honestly think that they haven't been implicated along with Bush in being war mongering crooks. Like, they believe that if they can just get us out of Iraq, people will forget that they're the reasons we're there. Hell, even if these fuckheads produced Osama and a garage full of those Weapons of Mass Destruction, they would still have about the same chance of winning a presidential election AS Osama.

McCaine is the kicker. That guy really had it in his head that if he looked like the good guy Republican he'd stand a chance. So he goes on national television, the Daily Show no less, and spouts mindless Republican drivel. Well? What the fuck did he think would happen. The words, "stay the course" are the political black plague.

But here's worse, they want out. They want to get us out of Iraq, but their Iatola Bush won't let them. He holds his breath and folds his arms and kicks the floor and they say, "O' come on Georgie Porgie, let us pwettty pwease get out of Iwaq." Holy shit! Sack up and impeach! How hard is that? You impeach him and denounce him and you save your failing party. What does Bush have over these people that they fawn over him like they're two cigarette prison bitches.

No. I don't believe it. These people are just as rich. Money isn't the issue or at least it isn't the only issue. They've obviously decided that only the religious right can keep them in power and so they've hitched their wagons to Bush and won't unhitch no matter what.

I have a feeling that they really want a totalitarian fascist regime and know that the only way to get it without looking bad is to keep some baffoon in the game who'll try anything as long as people let him.

...but money? Man, what senator isn't a millionaire already?

By the way, more on Mit Romney. Evidently, some of his staff are owners of these "troubled teen" centers--the kind that get sued for torturing the teens and locking people up against their will. It was in our local paper. Very interesting stuff.

I met Mit once. He's an asshole.

[Briefly mentioned in this long post.]

In fact, I think you're spot-on right with this religious right thing. Personally, I'm not religious. I'm not anti-religion, either. I just think it should be separate from government. So, I'm likewise not heartened by the left's encroachment into this area. You can't read a damn news article on ANYONE(*) without some mention of their faith, which to me is irrelevant.

*Except, oddly, Rudi G., who belongs to a church but doesn't drag his religious views into his politics. It's this more moderate view of his that I think may score him big points. The right will vote party line (though perhaps reluctantly) for him, and some lefties might swing his way since he's not a theocrat and has other socially liberal policies (e.g., gay rights, women's rights, etc.).

But, back to Mit. I'm sorry but I just view Mormonism as a cult. It's weird to me, and I really don't care who knows I feel that way. Besides, it's tough enough just to have one wife. What same guy would want three or four?
