Gonzales...because Bush needs a hobby
I think we should convict the Attorny General of perjury and here's why:
1.) Because he's guilty. I think, for this reason, the punishment should be for him to spend the rest of his life in a glass bubble in the middle of times square so that he never again has a moment of privacy. That seems fair. Note my last blog entry--we can get every American's emails but we can't catch any identity thieves. Hmmm....what are these people doing?
2.) Mostly though, I think we should convict Gonzales because the president hasn't done anything incredibly underhanded and un-American in a week or so, and by convicting Gonzales, we give Bush an opportunity to offer another criminal a full presidential pardon. I don't know about the rest of you, but I like the idea of a president with a zero approval rating who still won't get impeached.
