On the liberal use of the word "Rescue"
In Mississippi, a group of dolphins at an aquarium were swept out to sea by Katrina and now they are being "rescued."

I appreciate the irony of this situation. But, considering the toxic soup that the ocean is becoming today, a well-scrubbed swimming pool may be a godsend to those 'poor' dolphins.
Plus the origin of the word "rescue" has the latinate prefix "re" meaning to do something over. Hence, such dolphins were actually re-scued {or re screwed perhaps} much in the same way Livingstone, Sir Greystoke, and fun loving Oompah Loompahs were rescued and returned to productive society.
